[Viswamitra leaves for the Himavat mountain--king Janaka offers gifts to his daughters--King Dasaratha departs for his kingdom-encounter with Parasurama.]

atha rātryāṅ vyatītāyāṅ viśvāmitrō mahāmuniḥ.

āpṛṣṭvā tau ca rājānau jagāmōttaraparvatam ৷৷1.74.1৷৷

āśīrbhi: pūrayitvā ca kumārāṅśca sarāghavān.

Translation

atha afterwards, rātryām when the night, vyatītāyām had passed away, sa: that, mahāmuni: great ascetic, viśvāmitra: Visvamitra, rāghavān born in the race of Raghu, kumārān ca princes, āśīrbhi: with blessing, pūrayitvā having filled, tau those two, rājānai kings, āpṛṣṭvā having taken leave of them, uttaraparvatam northern mountains, jagāma went.

Night over, the great ascetic Viswamitra, profusely blessed the princes born in the race of Raghu, took leave of the two kings and set out towards the northern (Himalayas) mountains.
