[Bharadwaja welcomes Bharata and Vasistha --- Bharata discloses his intention to get back Rama.]

bharadvājāśramaṅ dṛṣṭvā krōśādēva nararṣabhaḥ.

balaṅ sarvamavasthāpya jagāma saha mantribhiḥ৷৷2.90.1৷৷

padbhyāmēva hi dharmajñō nyastaśastraparicchadaḥ.

vasānō vāsasī kṣaumē purōdhāya purōdhasam৷৷2.90.2৷৷

Translation

dharmajñaḥ knower of righteous ways, nararṣabhaḥ the best among men, krōśādēva from a distance of one krosa, bharadvājāśramam Bharadwaja's hermitage, dṛṣṭvā having seen, sarvam entire, balam army, avasthāpya brought to a halt, nyastaśastraparicchadaḥ lay aside the royal robes and weapons, kṣaumē vāsasī silk garments, vasānaḥ wearing, purōdhasam with family priest, Vasistha, purōdhāya placing ahead of him, mantribhissaha along with ministers, padbhyām ēva on foot, jagāma went.

Bharata, the knower of righteous ways and the best among men, saw the hermitage of Bharadwaja from a distance of one krosa and brought his entire army to a halt. He laid aside all his royal robes and weapons. Clad in silk garments, he went on foot along with his ministers, with the family priest Vasistha ahead of him.
