[Hanuman displays his immeasurable might and proceeds to mount Mahendra]

taṅ dṛṣṭvā jṛmbhamāṇaṅ tē kramituṅ śatayōjanam.

vīryēṇāpūryamāṇaṅ ca sahasā vānarōttamam৷৷4.67.1৷৷

sahasā śōkamutsṛjya praharṣēṇa samanvitāḥ.

vinēdustuṣṭuvuścāpi hanūmantaṅ mahābalam৷৷4.67.2৷৷

Translation

śatayōjanam hundred yojanas, kramitum to cross, jṛmbhamāṇam enlarging, sahasā at once, vīryēṇa in strength, āpūryamāṇaṅ ca and being filled, vānarōttamam best of monkeys, mahābalam a warrior of great strength, taṅ hanūmantam he, Hanuman, dṛṣṭvā seeing, tē those monkeys, sahasā all at once, śōkam grief, utsṛjya gave up, praharṣēṇa with joy, samanvitāḥ endowed, vinēduḥ screamed aloud, tuṣṭuvuścāpi also propitiated him.

'In order to cross a hundred yojanas, Hanuman, the best of monkeys expanded his might and strength. Seeing him, a warrior of great strength, all the monkeys, filled with enthusiasm at once gave up grief and collected together.They rejoiced and propitiated him screaming aloud.
