The gods said to Raghunatha, “O God beyond the confinement of place, time and matter! Incarnate in the well-known city of Ayodhya in human form with two arms, and kill Ravana who practised severe penance to propitiate Brahman, the prime god in the Satyaloka, who created the universe through him and his element”.
