An object for which a person makes efforts without caring about the consequences and persons who are intelligent in obtaining rare objects are the experts in statecraft. The object for which a person strives being lured by its beauty is an artha. This deer is also such an object.
Rama’s comment on the golden skin of deer 3.43.45-50
