Ravana’s ancestors 5.23.6


The commentator gives the names of Prajapatis, the ancestors of Ravana, namely Marici, Atri, Angiras, Pulastya, Pulah, Kratu. Pulastya’s son is Vaisravas, a great sage and Ravana is the son of Vaisravas.
