Kausalya was afraid she might be dubbed as another Kaikeyi because of her averseness to the king.

Although it is seven days since Rama left Ayodhya for the forest, Kausalya calibrates the days as five not counting the two days of journey to the forest. Sumantra waited at Sringiberapura for three days and took two days to return to Ayodhya.
