Bharata’s instructions to the members of the council 2.82.17-20

Kaikeyi, Sumitra and Kausalya journeyed in the same chariot. Kaikeyi’s name is put first to suggest her deep repentance for her evil deed. To show that all the three had become one in their mind at that time, the poet says they journeyed in the same chariot. There was forgiveness all round!
