[Viswamitra leaves for the Himavat mountain--king Janaka offers gifts to his daughters--King Dasaratha departs for his kingdom-encounter with Parasurama.]

ಅಥ ರಾತ್ರ್ಯಾಂ ವ್ಯತೀತಾಯಾಂ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರೋ ಮಹಾಮುನಿಃ.

ಆಪೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ತೌ ಚ ರಾಜಾನೌ ಜಗಾಮೋತ್ತರಪರ್ವತಮ್ ৷৷1.74.1৷৷

ಆಶೀರ್ಭಿ: ಪೂರಯಿತ್ವಾ ಚ ಕುಮಾರಾಂಶ್ಚ ಸರಾಘವಾನ್.


ಅಥ afterwards, ರಾತ್ರ್ಯಾಮ್ when the night, ವ್ಯತೀತಾಯಾಮ್ had passed away, ಸ: that, ಮಹಾಮುನಿ: great ascetic, ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರ: Visvamitra, ರಾಘವಾನ್ born in the race of Raghu, ಕುಮಾರಾನ್ ಚ princes, ಆಶೀರ್ಭಿ: with blessing, ಪೂರಯಿತ್ವಾ having filled, ತೌ those two, ರಾಜಾನೈ kings, ಆಪೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ having taken leave of them, ಉತ್ತರಪರ್ವತಮ್ northern mountains, ಜಗಾಮ went.

Night over, the great ascetic Viswamitra, profusely blessed the princes born in the race of Raghu, took leave of the two kings and set out towards the northern (Himalayas) mountains.
ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರೇ ಗತೇ ರಾಜಾ ವೈದೇಹಂ ಮಿಥಿಲಾಧಿಪಮ್ .

ಆಪೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾಥ ಜಗಾಮಾಶು ರಾಜಾ ದಶರಥ: ಪುರೀಮ್৷৷1.74.2৷৷


ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರೇ when Visvamitra, ಗತೇ had departed, ಅಥ thereafter, ರಾಜಾ one who causes joy to his people, ದಶರಥ: ರಾಜಾ king Dasaratha, ಮಿಥಿಲಾಧಿಪಮ್ lord of Mithila, ವೈದೇಹಮ್ king Janaka, ಆಪೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ taking leave of him, ಆಶು speedily, ಪುರೀಮ್ to city of Ayodhya, ಜಗಾಮ went.

With the departure of Viswamitra, king Dasaratha who was the source of happiness to his subjects took leave of Janaka, king of Mithila and speedily set out for the city of Ayodhya.
ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಂ ತಂ ತು ರಾಜಾನಮನ್ವಗಚ್ಛನ್ನರಾಧಿಪ:৷৷1.74.3৷৷

ಅಥ ರಾಜಾ ವಿದೇಹಾನಾಂ ದದೌ ಕನ್ಯಾಧನಂ ಬಹು.


ನರಾಧಿಪ: king Janaka, ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಮ್ while going, ತಮ್ that, ರಾಜಾನಮ್ king Dasaratha, ಅನ್ವಗಚ್ಛತ್ followed, ಅಥ thereafter, ವಿದೇಹಾನಾಮ್ lord of Videhas, ರಾಜಾ king Janaka, ಬಹು plenty of, ಕನ್ಯಾಧನಮ್ gifts to his daughters, ದದೌ gave.

King Janaka, lord of the Videhas, gave plenty of gifts to his daughters and followed king Dasaratha for some distance on his journey to Ayodhya.
ಗವಾಂ ಶತಸಹಸ್ರಾಣಿ ಬಹೂನಿ ಮಿಥಿಲೇಶ್ವರ:.

ಕಮ್ಬಲಾನಾಂ ಚ ಮುಖ್ಯಾನಾಂ ಕ್ಷೌಮಕೋಟ್ಯಂಬರಾಣಿ ಚ৷৷1.74.4৷৷

ಹಸ್ತ್ಯಶ್ವರಥಪಾದಾತಂ ದಿವ್ಯರೂಪಂ ಸ್ವಲಙ್ಕೃತಮ್ .

ದದೌ ಕನ್ಯಾಪಿತಾ ತಾಸಾಂ ದಾಸೀದಾಸಮನುತ್ತಮಮ್ ৷৷1.74.5৷৷


ಕನ್ಯಾಪಿತಾ father of brides, ಮಿಥಿಲೇಶ್ವರ: lord of Mithila, ಗವಾಮ್ of cows, ಬಹೂನಿ several, ಶತಸಹಸ್ರಾಣಿ hundred thousands, ಮುಖ್ಯಾನಾಮ್ of excellent, ಕಮ್ಬಲಾನಾಮ್ carpets, ಕ್ಷೌಮಕೋಟ್ಯಮ್ಬರಾಣಿ ಚ crores of silk garments, ಹಸ್ತ್ಯಶ್ವರಥಪಾದಾತಮ್ elephants, horses, chariots and infantry, ದಿವ್ಯರೂಪಮ್ of celestial beauty, ಸ್ವಲಙ್ಕೃತಮ್ well-decorated, ಅನುತ್ತಮಮ್ excellent, ದಾಸೀದಾಸಮ್ male and female servants, ತಾಸಾಮ್ for them, ದದೌ gave.

The king of Mithila and father of the brides gave a hundred thousand cows, excellent woollen carpets, crores of silk garments, four divisions of elephants, horses, chariots and infantry and well-decorated, excellent male and maid-servants shining in celestial
beauty.
ಹಿರಣ್ಯಸ್ಯ ಸುವರ್ಣಸ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತಾನಾಂ ವಿದ್ರುಮಸ್ಯ ಚ৷৷1.74.6৷৷

ದದೌ ಪರಮಸಂಹೃಷ್ಟ: ಕನ್ಯಾಧನಮನುತ್ತಮಮ್.


ಪರಮಸಂಹೃಷ್ಟ: immensely pleased, ಹಿರಣ್ಯಸ್ಯ golden, ಸುವರ್ಣಸ್ಯ of fine glow, ಮುಕ್ತಾನಾಮ್ pearls', ವಿದ್ರುಮಸ್ಯ corals, ಅನುತ್ತಮಮ್ excellent, ಕನ್ಯಾಧನಮ್ ornaments to his daughters, ದದೌ gave.

Immensely delighted, he gave his excellent daughters gold, pearls and corals.
ದತ್ತ್ವಾ ಬಹು ಧನಂ ರಾಜಾ ಸಮನುಜ್ಞಾಪ್ಯ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವಮ್৷৷1.74.7৷৷

ಪ್ರವಿವೇಶ ಸ್ವನಿಲಯಂ ಮಿಥಿಲಾಂ ಮಿಥಿಲೇಶ್ವರ:.


ಮಿಥಿಲೇಶ್ವರ: lord of Mithila, ರಾಜಾ king Janaka, ಬಹು ಧನಂ plenty of wealth, ದತ್ತ್ವಾ having given, ಪಾರ್ಥಿವಮ್ king Dasaratha, ಸಮನುಜ್ಞಾಪ್ಯ after making him give consent to Janaka to go back, ಸ್ವನಿಲಯಮ್ own residence, ಮಿಥಿಲಾಮ್ Mithila, ಪ್ರವಿವೇಶ entered.

The Lord of Mithila bestowed a lot of wealth on his daughters and with the consent of the king (Dasaratha) re-entered his residence in Mithila.
ರಾಜಾಪ್ಯಯೋಧ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಸ್ಸಹ ಪುತ್ರೈರ್ಮಹಾತ್ಮಭಿ:.

ಋಷೀನ್ ಸರ್ವಾನ್ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ್ಯ ಜಗಾಮ ಸಬಲಾನುಗ:৷৷1.74.8৷৷


ಅಯೋಧ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿ: lord of Ayodhya, ರಾಜಾಪಿ king Dasaratha also, ಮಹಾತ್ಮಭಿ: with illustrious, ಪುತ್ರೈ: ಸಹ along with his sons, ಸರ್ವಾನ್ all, ಋಷೀನ್ sages, ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ್ಯ placing him in the fore-front, ಸಬಲಾನುಗ: followed by his army and followers, ಜಗಾಮ went.

King Dasaratha of Ayodhya also left along with his great sons preceded by the sages and followed by the army.
ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಂ ತಂ ನರವ್ಯಾಘ್ರಂ ಸರ್ಷಿಸಙ್ಘಂ ಸರಾಘವಮ್৷৷1.74.9৷৷

ಘೋರಾ: ಸ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷಿಣೋ ವಾಚೋ ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ತಿ ತತಸ್ತತ:.


ಸರ್ಷಿಸಙ್ಘಮ್ with hosts of sages, ಸರಾಘವಮ್ with Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Satrughna, ನರವ್ಯಾಘ್ರಮ್ tiger among men, ತಮ್ that, Dasaratha, ತತಸ್ತತ: here and there, ಘೋರಾ: frightening, ಪಕ್ಷಿಣ: birds, ವಾಚ: disagreeable sounds, ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ತಿ ಸ್ಮ uttered.

While this tiger among men Dasaratha, was returning with the hosts of sages and his sons, he observed here and there frightening birds making disagreeable sounds.
ಭೌಮಾಶ್ಚೈವ ಮೃಗಾ ಸ್ಸರ್ವೇ ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಿ ಸ್ಮ ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣಮ್৷৷1.74.10৷৷

ತಾನ್ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ರಾಜಶಾರ್ದೂಲೋ ವಸಿಷ್ಠಂ ಪರ್ಯಪೃಚ್ಛತ.


ಭೌಮಾ: those relating to earth, ಸರ್ವೇ all, ಮೃಗಾ: beasts, ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣಮ್ moving to the right, ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಿ went away, ತಾನ್ them, ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ having seen, ರಾಜಶಾರ್ದೂಲ: best among men, Dasaratha, ವಸಿಷ್ಠಮ್ Vasishta, ಪರ್ಯಪೃಚ್ಛತ enquired.

Seeing the beasts on the way rushing to the right the tiger among men, enquired of Vasishta:
ಅಸೌಮ್ಯಾ: ಪಕ್ಷಿಣೋ ಘೋರಾ ಮೃಗಾಶ್ಚಾಪಿ ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣಾ:৷৷1.74.11৷৷

ಕಿಮಿದಂ ಹೃದಯೋತ್ಕಮ್ಪಿ ಮನೋ ಮಮ ವಿಷೀದತಿ.


ಘೋರಾ: freightening, ಪಕ್ಷಿಣ: birds, ಅಸೌಮ್ಯಾ: are disagreeable, ಮೃಗಾಶ್ಚಾಪಿ deers also, ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣಾ: on to their right, ಹೃದಯೋತ್ಕಮ್ಪಿ trembling my heart, ಇದಮ್ this, ಕಿಮ್ what, ಮಮ my, ಮನ: mind, ವಿಷೀದತಿ depressed of spirits.

"While the frightening birds are inauspicious, the deer on the right are favourables Why is this? My heart beats. My mind is depressed.
ರಾಜ್ಞೋ ದಶರಥಸ್ಯೈತಚ್ಛ್ರುತ್ವಾ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಮಹಾನೃಷಿ:৷৷1.74.12৷৷

ಉವಾಚ ಮಧುರಾಂ ವಾಣೀಂ ಶ್ರೂಯತಾಮಸ್ಯ ಯತ್ಫಲಮ್.


ಮಹಾನೃಷಿ: that great rishi Vasishta, ರಾಜ್ಞ: ದಶರಥಸ್ಯ king Dasarath's, ಏತತ್ these, ವಾಕ್ಯಮ್ words, ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ having listened, ಮಧುರಾಮ್ in gentle accents, ವಾಣೀಮ್ words, ಉವಾಚ spoke, ಅಸ್ಯ for this, ಯತ್ which, ಫಲಮ್ consequence, ಶ್ರೂಯತಾಮ್ may be heard.

To these words of king Dasaratha the great ascetic Vasishta replied in a gentle voice, "I shall tell you the consequences Listen!".
ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಂ ಭಯಂ ಘೋರಂ ದಿವ್ಯಂ ಪಕ್ಷಿಮುಖಾಚ್ಚ್ಯುತಮ್৷৷1.74.13৷৷

ಮೃಗಾ: ಪ್ರಶಮಯನ್ತ್ಯೇತೇ ಸನ್ತಾಪಸ್ತ್ಯಜ್ಯತಾಮಯಮ್.


ಪಕ್ಷಿಮುಖಾತ್ from the mouth of these birds, ಚ್ಯುತಮ್ released (foretells), ದಿವ್ಯಮ್ of celestial nature, ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಮ್ befallen, ಘೋರಮ್ dreadful, ಭಯಮ್ fear, ಏತೇ these, ಮೃಗಾ: beasts, ಪ್ರಶಮಯನ್ತಿ restoring peace, ಅಯಮ್ this, ಸನ್ತಾಪ: grief, ತ್ಯಜ್ಯತಾಮ್ may be abandoned.

The dreadful cries from the mouths of birds foretell an event of celestial nature likely to befall but the movements other of deer indicate restoration of peace. Therefore do not grieve.
ತೇಷಾಂ ಸಂವದತಾಂ ತತ್ರ ವಾಯು: ಪ್ರಾದುರ್ಬಭೂವ ಹ৷৷1.74.14৷৷

ಕಮ್ಪಯನ್ ಪೃಥಿವೀಂ ಸರ್ವಾಂ ಪಾತಯಂಶ್ಚ ದ್ರುಮಾಂಚ್ಛುಭಾನ್.


ತೇಷಾಂ when they, ಸಂವದತಾಮ್ were conversing, ತತ್ರ there, ಪೃಥಿವೀಮ್ the earth, ಕಮ್ಪಯನ್ shaking, ಶುಭಾನ್ beautiful, ದ್ರುಮಾನ್ trees, ಪಾತಯನ್ felling, ವಾಯು: wind, ಪ್ರಾದುರ್ಬಭೂವ ಹ arose.

While they were conversing, a storm blew, shaking the earth and felling down beautiful trees.
ತಮಸಾ ಸಂವೃತಸ್ಸೂರ್ಯ ಸ್ಸರ್ವಾ ನ ಪ್ರಬಭುರ್ದಿಶ৷৷1.74.15৷৷

ಭಸ್ಮನಾ ಚಾವೃತಂ ಸರ್ವಂ ಸಂಮೂಢಮಿವ ತದ್ಬಲಮ್.


ಸೂರ್ಯ: Sun, ತಮಸಾ with darkness, ಸಂವೃತ: covered, ಸರ್ವಾ: all, ದಿಶ: cardinal quarters, ನ ಪ್ರಬಭು: did not shine, ತತ್ that, ಸರ್ವಮ್ all, ಬಲಮ್ army, ಭಸ್ಮನಾ with ashes, ಆವೃತಂ covered with, ಸಂಮೂಢಮಿವ as if fainted.

The Sun was wrapped in dark. The quarters were devoid of brightness. The entire army was covered with ashes, as if they fainted.
ವಸಿಷ್ಠಶ್ಚರ್ಷಯಶ್ಚಾನ್ಯೇ ರಾಜಾ ಚ ಸಸುತಸ್ತದಾ ৷৷1.74.16৷৷

ಸಂಸಜ್ಞಾ ಇವ ತತ್ರಾಸನ್ ಸರ್ವಮನ್ಯದ್ವಿಚೇತನಮ್.


ತದಾ then, ವಸಿಷ್ಠಶ್ಚ Vasishta, ಅನ್ಯೇ other, ಋಷಯಶ್ಚ saints, ಸಸುತ: with his sons, ರಾಜಾ king Dasaratha, ಸಸಂಜ್ಞಾ: ಇವ as if having consciousness, (ತತ್ರ)ಆಸನ್ remained, ಅನ್ಯತ್ others, ಸರ್ವಮ್ entire, ವಿಚೇತನಮ್ lost their consciousness.

At that time Vasishta and other saints, the king and his sons held their senses under control. All others lost their consciousness.
ತಸ್ಮಿಂಸ್ತಮಸಿ ಘೋರೇ ತು ಭಸ್ಮಚ್ಛನ್ನೇವ ಸಾ ಚಮೂ:৷৷1.74.17৷৷

ದದರ್ಶ ಭೀಮಸಙ್ಕಾಶಂ ಜಟಾಮಣ್ಡಲಧಾರಿಣಮ್.

ಭಾರ್ಗವಂ ಜಾಮದಗ್ನ್ಯಂ ತಂ ರಾಜರಾಜವಿಮರ್ದಿನಮ್৷৷1.74.18৷৷

ಕೈಲಾಸಮಿವ ದುರ್ಧರ್ಷಂ ಕಾಲಾಗ್ನಿಮಿವ ದುಸ್ಸಹಮ್.

ಜ್ವಲಂತಮಿವ ತೇಜೋಭಿರ್ದುರ್ನಿರೀಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಪೃಥಗ್ಜನೈ:৷৷1.74.19৷৷

ಸ್ಕನ್ಧೇ ಚಾಸಜ್ಯ ಪರಶುಂ ಧನುರ್ವಿದ್ಯುದ್ಗಣೋಪಮಮ್ .

ಪ್ರಗೃಹ್ಯ ಶರಮುಖ್ಯಂ ಚ ತ್ರಿಪುರಘ್ನಂ ಯಥಾ ಶಿವಮ್৷৷1.74.20৷৷


ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ In that, ಘೋರೇ fearful, ತಮಸಿ darkness, ಭಸ್ಮಚ್ಛನ್ನೇವ looking as if covered with ashes, ಸಾ ಚಮೂ: that army, ಭೀಮಸಙ್ಕಾಶಮ್ looking dreadful, ಜಟಾಮಣ್ಡಲಧಾರಿಣಮ್ wearing a crown of matted hair, ರಾಜರಾಜವಿಮರ್ದಿನಮ್ decimated the king of kings, ಕೈಲಾಸಮಿವ like Kailasa Mountain, ದುರ್ಧರ್ಷಮ್ inaccessible, ಕಾಲಾಗ್ನಿಮಿವ like the fire at the time of dissolution, ದುಸ್ಸಹಮ್ difficult to endure, ತೇಜೋಭಿ: with energy, ಜ್ವಲನ್ತಮಿವ as if blazing, ಪೃಥಗ್ಜನೈ: by ordinary people, ದುರ್ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಮ್ incapable of being gazed upon, ಪರಶುಮ್ axe, ಸ್ಕನ್ಧೇ on his shoulder, ಆಸಜ್ಯ hanging, ವಿದ್ಯುದ್ಗಣೋಪಮಮ್ resembling group of lightenings, ಧನು: bow, ಶರಮುಖ್ಯಮ್ principal arrow, ಪ್ರಗೃಹ್ಯ grasping, ತ್ರಿಪುರಘ್ನಮ್ slayer of Tripura, ಶಿವಂ ಯಥಾ like Siva, ತಮ್ that, ಭಾರ್ಗವಮ್ descendent of Bhrugu, ಜಾಮದಗ್ನಯಮ್ son of Jamadagni, ದದರ್ಶ beheld.

In that dreadful darkness while the army looked as if covered with ashes, king Dasaratha encountered the repressor of kings, descendant of Bhrugu and son of Jamadagni with a terrible crown of matted hair, inaccessible like Kailasa mountain and unendurable like the fire at the time of dissolution. The laymen gazing at his blazing energy,hanging an axe on his shoulder and holding a bow in his hand which flashed like lighning and the principal arrow he looked like Siva at the time of slaying of
Tripura.
ತಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಭೀಮಸಙ್ಕಾಶಂ ಜ್ವಲನ್ತಮಿವ ಪಾವಕಮ್.

ವಸಿಷ್ಠಪ್ರಮುಖಾ ವಿಪ್ರಾ ಜಪಹೋಮಪರಾಯಣಾ:৷৷1.74.21৷৷

ಸಙ್ಗತಾ ಮುನಯಸ್ಸರ್ವೇ ಸಞ್ಜಜಲ್ಪುರಥೋ ಮಿಥ:.


ಭೀಮಸಙ್ಕಾಶಮ್ fearful appearance, ಜ್ವಲನ್ತಮ್ like flaming, ಪಾವಕಮ್ ಇವ like fire, ತಮ್ him, ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ having seen, ಜಪಹೋಮಪರಾಯಣಾ: engaged in reciting mantras and oblations to the fire, ವಿಪ್ರಾ: brahmanas, ವಸಿಷ್ಠಪ್ರಮುಖಾ: Vasishta and others, ಸರ್ವೇ ಮುನಯ: all saints, ಸಙ್ಗತಾ: having assembled, ಅಥೋ afterwards, ಮಿಥ: mutually, ಸಞ್ಜಜಲ್ಪು: whispered.

At the sight of the fearful appearance of Parasurama looking like flaming fire, Vasishta and all other saints who were in the habit of chanting mantras and offering oblations to the fire whispered among themselves:
ಕಚ್ಚಿತ್ಪಿತೃವಧಾಮರ್ಷೀ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಂ ನೋತ್ಸಾದಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ৷৷1.74.22৷৷

ಪೂರ್ವಂ ಕ್ಷತ್ರವಧಂ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಗತಮನ್ಯುರ್ಗತಜ್ವರ:.

ಕ್ಷತ್ರಸ್ಯೋತ್ಸಾದನಂ ಭೂಯೋ ನ ಖಲ್ವಸ್ಯ ಚಿಕೀರ್ಷಿತಮ್৷৷1.74.23৷৷


ಪಿತೃವಧಾಮರ್ಷೀ enraged at the slaughter of his father, ಕ್ಷತ್ರಮ್ kshatriya race, ನೋತ್ಸಾದಯಿಷ್ಯತಿಕಚ್ಚಿತ್ is he not intent upon exterminating, ಪೂರ್ವಮ್ formerly, ಕ್ಷತ್ರವಧಮ್ slaughter of kshatriyas, ಕೃತ್ವಾ having made, ಗತಮನ್ಯು: freed from anger, ಗತಜ್ವರ: freed from grief, ಭೂಯ: again, ಕ್ಷತ್ರಸ್ಯ of kshatriya race, ಉತ್ಸಾದನಮ್ annihilation, ಅಸ್ಯ for him, ನ ಚಿಕೀರ್ಷಿತಂ ಖಲು is not desirous of doing it indeed.

Enraged at the slaughter of his father (by Kartaveeryarjuna), is he intent upon exterminating the kshatriya race? Having slaughtered the kshatriyas, in the past he was freed from anger and grief. Is he again desirous of annihilating the kshatriyas?
ಏವಮುಕ್ತ್ವಾರ್ಘ್ಯಮಾದಾಯ ಭಾರ್ಗವಂ ಭೀಮದರ್ಶನಮ್.

ಋಷಯೋ ರಾಮ ರಾಮೇತಿ ವಚೋ ಮಧುರಮಬ್ರುವನ್৷৷1.74.24৷৷


ಋಷಯ: saints, ಏವಮ್ thus, ಉಕ್ತ್ವಾ having talked amongst themselves, ಅರ್ಘ್ಯಮ್ the arghya, ಆದಾಯ taking, ಭೀಮದರ್ಶನಮ್ dreadful appearance, ಭಾರ್ಗವಮ್ son of Bhargava, ರಾಮ ರಾಮ ಇತಿ "Rama, Rama" saying so, ಮಧುರಮ್ ವಚ: soothing words, ಅಬ್ರುವನ್ spoke.

The saints having thus talked amongst themselves, offered arghya to the son of Bhargava, of dreadful appearance and addressed him in soothing words: "O Rama! O Rama!".

Valiant Parasurama, son of Jamadagni, having accepted the homage offered by the saints addressed Rama, son of Dasaratha and said:
ಇತ್ಯಾರ್ಷೇ ಶ್ರೀಮದ್ರಾಮಾಯಣೇ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕೀಯ ಆದಿಕಾವ್ಯೇ ಬಾಲಕಾಣ್ಡೇ ಚತುಸ್ಸಪ್ತತಿತಮಸ್ಸರ್ಗ:৷৷
