[Rama shares with Sita his delight of the beautiful nature around Chitrakuta mountain.]

ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲೋಷಿತ ಸ್ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ಗಿರೌ ಗಿರಿವನಪ್ರಿಯಃ.

ವೈದೇಹ್ಯಾಃ ಪ್ರಿಯಮಾಕಾಙ್ಕ್ಷನ್ಸ್ವಂ ಚ ಚಿತ್ತಂ ವಿಲೋಭಯನ್৷৷2.94.1৷৷

ಅಥ ದಾಶರಥಿಶ್ಚಿತ್ರಂ ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟಮದರ್ಶಯತ್.

ಭಾರ್ಯಾಮಮರಸಙ್ಕಾಶ ಶ್ಶಚೀಮಿವ ಪುರನ್ದರಃ৷৷2.94.2৷৷

ಅಥ thereafter, ಅಮರಸಙ್ಕಾಶಃ one who resembles the gods, ಗಿರಿವನಪ್ರಿಯಃ one fond of mountains and forests, ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ in that, ಗಿರೌ on the mountain, ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲೋಷಿತಃ who had been living for a long time, ದಾಶರಥಿಃ Rama, ವೈದೇಹ್ಯಾಃ Sita's, ಪ್ರಿಯಮ್ pleasure, ಆಕಾಙ್ಕ್ಷನ್ desiring, ಸ್ವಮ್
own, ಚಿತ್ತಮ್ mind, ವಿಲೋಭಯನ್ to please, ಚಿತ್ರಮ್ wonderful, ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟಮ್ Chitrakuta mountain, ಭಾರ್ಯಾಮ್ to his consort, ಪುರನ್ದರಃ Indra (breaker of fortresses), ಶಚೀಮಿವ like Sachi, ಅದರ್ಶಯತ್ showed.

Rama, resembling the gods, who had been living there for long developed a liking for the mountains and forests. With a desire to please Sita and his own mind, he showed her the wonderful Chitrakuta mountain as Indra did to his wife Sachi.

ಮನೋ ಮೇ ಬಾಧತೇ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ರಮಣೀಯಮಿಮಂ ಗಿರಿಮ್৷৷2.94.3৷৷

ಹೇ ಭದ್ರೇ O gentle one, ಇಮಮ್ this, ರಮಣೀಯಮ್ lovely, ಗಿರಿಮ್ mountain, ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ beholding, ರಾಜ್ಯಾತ್ from the kingdom, ಭ್ರಂಶನಮ್ expulsion, ಮೇ ಮನಃ my mind, ನ ಬಾಧತೇ does not pain, ಸುಹೃದ್ಭಿರ್ವಿನಾಭವಃ separation from friends, ನ does not pain.

O gentle one, when I behold this lovely mountain, neither the expulsion from the kingdom nor being away from friends pains my mind.

ಪಶ್ಯೇಮಮಚಲಂ ಭದ್ರೇ ನಾನಾದ್ವಿಜಗಣಾಯುತಮ್.

ಶಿಖರೈಃ ಖಮಿವೋದ್ವಿದ್ಧೈರ್ಧಾತುಮದ್ಭಿರ್ವಿಭೂಷಿತಮ್৷৷2.94.4৷৷

ಭದ್ರೇ O auspicious one, ನಾನಾದ್ವಿಜಗಣಾಯುತಮ್ abounding in flocks of birds of every kind, ಖಮ್ the sky, ಉದ್ವಿದ್ಧೈರಿವ as if piercing, ಧಾತುಮದ್ಭಿ: with minerals, ಶಿಖರೈಃ peaks, ವಿಭೂಷಿತಮ್ adorned, ಇಮಮ್ this, ಅಚಲಮ್ mountain, ಪಶ್ಯ you may see.

O auspicious one, you may behold this mountin abounding in flocks of birds of every kind and its peaks adorned wtih minerals and as if piercing the sky.

ಕೇಚಿದ್ರಜತಸಙ್ಕಾಶಾಃ ಕೇಚಿತ್ಕ್ಷತಜಸಂನಿಭಾಃ.

ಪೀತಮಾಞ್ಜಿಷ್ಟವರ್ಣಾಶ್ಚ ಕೇಚಿನ್ಮಣಿವರಪ್ರಭಾಃ৷৷2.94.5৷৷

ಪುಷ್ಯಾರ್ಕಕೇತಕಾಭಾಶ್ಚ ಕೇಚಿಜ್ಜ್ಯೋತೀರಸಪ್ರಭಾಃ.

ವಿರಾಜನ್ತೇಚಲೇನ್ದ್ರಸ್ಯ ದೇಶಾ ಧಾತುವಿಭೂಷಿತಾಃ৷৷2.94.6৷৷

ಧಾತುವಿಭೂಷಿತಾಃ adorned with minerals, ಅಚಲೇನ್ದ್ರಸ್ಯ of this lord of the mountains, ಕೇಚಿತ್ some, ದೇಶಾಃ regions, ರಜತಸಙ್ಕಾಶಾಃ similar to (the radiance of) silver, ಕೇಚಿತ್ some regions, ಕ್ಷತಜಸಂನಿಭಾಃ are having blood-red colour, ಪೀತಮಾಞ್ಜಿಷ್ಟವರ್ಣಾಶ್ಚ (some) colour of madder-crimson, ಕೇಚಿತ್ some, ಮಣಿವರಪ್ರಭಾಃ sparkle like the best of gems, ಪುಷ್ಯಾರ್ಕಕೇತಕಾಭಾಶ್ಚ shining like topaz, or crystal or a flower of ketaka plant, ಕೇಚಿತ್ some, ಜ್ಯೋತೀರಸಪ್ರಭಾಃ shimmering like stars or quicksilver, ವಿರಾಜನ್ತೇ shining.

This mountain with its peaks is adorned with various minerals. Some of the regions have the radiance of silver and bronze, some look blood-red or madder-crimson, some sparkle like the rarest of gems while others shine like topaz or crystal or a flower of ketaka plant or shimmer like stars and quicksilver.

ನಾನಾಮೃಗಗಣದ್ವೀಪಿತರರ್ಕ್ಷ್ವೃಕ್ಷಗಣೈರ್ವುತಃ.

ಅದುಷ್ಟೈರ್ಭಾತ್ಯಯಂ ಶೈಲೋ ಬಹುಪಕ್ಷಿಸಮಾಯುತಃ৷৷2.94.7৷৷

ಅಯಂ ಶೈಲಃ this mountain, ಅದುಷ್ಟೈಃ without being cruel, ನಾನಾಮೃಗಗಣದ್ವೀಪಿತರರ್ಕ್ಷ್ವೃಕ್ಷಗಣೈಃ with herds of several kinds of animals like tigers, panthers and bears, ವೃತಃ surrounded by, ಬಹುಪಕ್ಷಿಸಮಾಯುತಃ united with flocks of birds, ಭಾತಿ is shining.

This mount Chitrakuta is swarmed by flocks of birds and herds of several kinds of animals like tigers, panthers and bears of every kind giving up their cruel nature.

ಆಮ್ರಜಮ್ಬ್ವಸನೈರ್ಲೋಧ್ರೈಃ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಲೈಃ ಪನಸೈರ್ಧವೈಃ.

ಅಙ್ಕೋಲೈರ್ಭವ್ಯತಿನಿಶೈರ್ಬಿಲ್ವತಿನ್ದುಕ ವೇಣುಭಿಃ৷৷2.94.8৷৷

ಕಾಶ್ಮರ್ಯರಿಷ್ಟವರುಣೈರ್ಮಧೂಕೈಸ್ತಿಲಕೈಸ್ತಥಾ.

ಬದರ್ಯಾಮಲಕೈರ್ನೀಪೈರ್ವೇತ್ರಧನ್ವನಬೀಜಕೈಃ৷৷2.94.9৷৷

ಪುಷ್ಪವದ್ಭಿಃ ಫಲೋಪೇತೈಶ್ಛಾಯಾವದ್ಭಿರ್ಮನೋರಮೈಃ.

ಏವಮಾದಿಭಿರಾಕೀರ್ಣಃ ಶ್ರಿಯಂ ಪುಷ್ಯತ್ಯಯಂ ಗಿರಿಃ৷৷2.94.10৷৷

ಅಯಂ ಗಿರಿಃ this mountain, ಪುಷ್ಪವದ್ಭಿಃ covered with flowers, ಫಲೋಪೇತೈಃ laden with fruits, ಛಾಯಾವದ್ಭಿಃ shady, ಮನೋರಮೈಃ enchanting, ಆಮ್ರಜಮ್ಬ್ವಸನೈಃ mango, rose-apples, asana trees, ಲೋಧ್ರೈಃ lodhra trees, ಪ್ರಿಯಾಲೈಃ priyala trees, ಪನಸೈಃ jackfruit trees, ಧವೈಃ dhava trees, ಅಙ್ಕೋಲೈಃ ankola trees, ಭವ್ಯತಿನಿಶೈಃ lovely tinisa trees, ಬಿಲ್ವತಿನ್ದುಕವೇಣುಭಿಃ bilva trees, tinduka and bamboo, ಕಾಶ್ಮರ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ಟವರುಣೈಃ kashmaya, arishta and varuna ತಥಾ similarly,ಮಧೂಕೈಃ madhuka trees, ತಿಲಕೈಃ tilaka trees, ಬದರ್ಯಾಮಲಕೈ: badari and myrobalan trees, ನೀಪೈಃ kodamva trees, ವೇತ್ರಧನ್ವನಬೀಜಕೈಃ cane, danvas, and promegranates, ಏವಮಾದಿಭಿ: with these kinds of trees, ಆಕೀರ್ಣಃ spread over, ಶ್ರಿಯಮ್ splendour, ಪುಷ್ಯತಿ enhancing.

This mountain is spread over with various kinds of flowering trees and trees laden with fruits, shady and enchanting, mango, rose-apples, asanas, lodhras, priyalas, jackfruit trees, dhavas, ankolas, lovely tinisas, bilva trees, tinduka and bamboo, kashmaya, arishta and varuna, madhukas, tilaka trees, badari and myrobalan trees, nipa trees, cane, danvas, and promegranate trees, the mountain looks splendid.

ಶೈಲಪ್ರಸ್ಥೇಷು ರಮ್ಯೇಷು ಪಶ್ಯೇಮಾನ್ ರೋಮಹರ್ಷಣಾನ್.

ಕಿನ್ನರಾನ್ ದ್ವನ್ದ್ವಶೋ ಭದ್ರೇ ರಮಮಾಣಾನ್ಮನಸ್ವಿನಃ৷৷2.94.11৷৷

ಭದ್ರೇ O auspicious one, ರಮ್ಯೇಷು in the beautiful, ಶೈಲಪ್ರಸ್ಥೇಷು on the plateau, ದ್ವನ್ದ್ವಶಃ in pair, ರಮಮಾಣಾನ್ sporting, ರೋಮಹರ್ಷಣಾನ್ thrilling, ಮನಸ್ವಿನಃ high-spirited, ಇಮಾನ್ these, ಕಿನ್ನರಾನ್ kinneras, ಪಶ್ಯ behold.

O auspicious-looking one, behold these high-spirited kinneras in pairs who are sporting on the picturesque hill plateaus causing thrills.

ಶಾಖಾವಸಕ್ತಾನ್ ಖಡ್ಗಾಂಶ್ಚ ಪ್ರವರಾಣ್ಯಮ್ಬರಾಣಿ ಚ.

ಪಶ್ಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾಧರಸ್ತ್ರೀಣಾಂ ಕ್ರೀಡೋದ್ಧೇಶಾನ್ಮನೋರಮಾನ್৷৷2.94.12৷৷

ವಿದ್ಯಾಧರಸ್ತ್ರೀಣಾಮ್ by Vidyadhara women, ಶಾಖಾವಸಕ್ತಾನ್ hanging from the branches, ಖಡ್ಗಾಂಶ್ಚ swords, ಪ್ರವರಾಣಿ best, ಅಮ್ಬರಾಣಿ ಚ garments, ಮನೋರಮಾನ್ captivating, ಕ್ರೀಡೋದ್ಧೇಶಾನ್ sporting retreats, ಪಶ್ಯ behold.

Behold the captivating sporting retreats of Vidyadharis, with their swords and best garments hung on the branches of the trees.

ಜಲಪ್ರಪಾತೈರುದ್ಭೇದೈರ್ನಿಷ್ಯನ್ದೈಶ್ಚ ಕ್ವಚಿತ್ಕ್ವಚಿತ್.

ಸ್ರವದ್ಭಿರ್ಭಾತ್ಯಯಂ ಶೈಲ ಸ್ಸ್ರವನ್ಮದ ಇವ ದ್ವಿಪಃ৷৷2.94.13৷৷

ಅಯಮ್ this, ಶೈಲಃ mountain, ಕ್ವಚಿತ್ ಕ್ವಚಿತ್ here and there, ಸ್ರವದ್ಭಿಃ by the flowing, ಜಲಪ್ರಪಾತೈಃ waterfalls, ಉದ್ಭೇದೈಃ sprouting from the earth, ನಿಷ್ಯನ್ದೈಶ್ಚ fountains, ಸ್ರವನ್ಮದಃ emitting the ichor, ದ್ವಿಪಃ ಇವ like the elephant, ಭಾತಿ shining.

Behold a waterfall here and a fountain there gushing from the earth and in other places, the mountain looks like an elephant rutting ichor.

ಗುಹಾಸಮೀರಣೋ ಗನ್ಧಾನ್ನಾನಾಪುಷ್ಪಭವಾನ್ವಹನ್.

ಘ್ರಾಣತರ್ಪಣಮಭ್ಯೇತ್ಯ ಕಂ ನರಂ ನ ಪ್ರಹರ್ಷಯೇತ್৷৷2.94.14৷৷

ನಾನಾಪುಷ್ಪಭವಾನ್ produced from many flowers, ಗನ್ಧಾನ್ fragrance, ವಹನ್ carrying, ಗುಹಾಸಮೀರಣಃ breeze from the caves, ಘ್ರಾಣತರ್ಪಣಮ್ satisfying the sense of smell, ಅಭ್ಯೇತ್ಯ going towards, ಕಂ ನರಮ್ which man, ನ ಪ್ರಹರ್ಷಯೇತ್ would not delight?

The breeze from the caves carrying the fragrance of many flowers is satisfying the sense of smell. Who will not find it delightful?

ಯದೀಹ ಶರದೋನೇಕಾಸ್ತ್ವಯಾ ಸಾರ್ಧಮನಿನ್ದಿತೇ.

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣೇನ ಚ ವತ್ಸ್ಯಾಮಿ ನ ಮಾಂ ಶೋಕಃ ಪ್ರಧಕ್ಷ್ಯತಿ৷৷2.94.15৷৷

ಅನಿನ್ದಿತೇ O flawless one, ತ್ವಯಾ with you, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣೇನ ಚ ಸಾರ್ಧಮ್ and in the company Lakshmana, ಇಹ here, ಅನೇಕಾಃ many, ಶರದಃ autumns, ವತ್ಸ್ಯಾಮಿ ಯದಿ if I am to live, ಮಾಮ್ me, ಶೋಕಃ grief, ನ ಪ್ರಧಕ್ಷ್ಯತಿ will not consume.

O flawless one, if I am to live here for many years to come with you and Lakshmana,
no grief will consume me.

ಬಹುಪುಷ್ಪಫಲೇ ರಮ್ಯೇ ನಾನಾದ್ವಿಜಗಣಾಯುತೇ.

ವಿಚಿತ್ರಶಿಖರೇ ಹ್ಯಸ್ಮಿನ್ರತವಾನಸ್ಮಿ ಭಾಮಿನಿ!৷৷2.94.16৷৷

ಭಾಮಿನಿ! O lovely Sita, ಬಹುಪುಷ್ಪಫಲೇ laden with abundance of flowers and fruits, ನಾನಾದ್ವಿಜಗಣಾಯುತೇ flocked by different kinds of birds, ವಿಚಿತ್ರಶಿಖರೇ on enchanting mountain peaks, ರಮ್ಯೇ delightful, ಅಸ್ಮಿನ್ on this mountain, ರತವಾನ್ ಅಸ್ಮಿ ಹಿ I am fond of.

O lovely Sita, I am enamoured of this delightful mountain with its enchanting peaks laden with abundance of flowers and fruits and flocked by different kinds of birds.

ಅನೇನ ವನವಾಸೇನ ಮಯಾ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಂ ಫಲದ್ವಯಮ್.

ಪಿತುಶ್ಚಾನೃಣತಾ ಧರ್ಮೇ ಭರತಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರಿಯಂ ತಥಾ৷৷2.94.17৷৷

ಅನೇನ by this, ವನವಾಸೇನ staying in the forest, ಧರ್ಮೇ with regard to righteousness, ಪಿತುಃ to father, ಅನೃಣತಾ discharge of debt, ತಥಾ also, ಭರತಸ್ಯ Bharata's, ಪ್ರಿಯಮ್ pleasure, ಫಲದ್ವಯಮ್
two-fold benefit, ಮಯಾ by me, ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಮ್ have been obtained.

By living in the forest I have achieved a two-fold benefit-discharge of debt of my father with regard to righteousness and causing happiness to Bharata.

ವೈದೇಹಿ ರಮಸೇ ಕಚ್ಚಿಚ್ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟೇ ಮಯಾ ಸಹ.

ಪಶ್ಯನ್ತೀ ವಿವಿಧಾನ್ಭಾವಾನ್ಮನೋವಾಕ್ಕಾಯಸಮ್ಮತಾನ್৷৷2.94.18৷৷

ಹೇ ವೈದೇಹಿ O Sita, ಮನೋವಾಕ್ಕಾಯಸಮ್ಮತಾನ್ gratifying to body, speech and mind, ವಿವಿಧಾನ್ various, ಭಾವಾನ್ objects, ಪಶ್ಯನ್ತೀ observing, ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟೇ on Chitrakuta, ಮಯಾ ಸಹ along with me, ರಮಸೇ ಕಚ್ಚಿತ್ are you enjoying?

O Sita, are you enjoying by being with me here on this Chitrakuta and observing various objects gratifying to the body, mind and speech?

ಇದಮೇವಾಮೃತಂ ಪ್ರಾಹೂ ರಾಜ್ಞಿ ರಾಜರ್ಷಯಃ ಪರೇ.

ವನವಾಸಂ ಭವಾರ್ಥಾಯ ಪ್ರೇತ್ಯ ಮೇ ಪ್ರಪಿತಾಮಹಾಃ৷৷2.94.19৷৷

ಮೇ my, ಪ್ರಪಿತಾಮಹಾಃ greatgrandfathers, ಪರೇ ancestors, ರಾಜರ್ಷಯಃ royal sages, ಪ್ರೇತ್ಯ after death, ಭವಾರ್ಥಾಯ for best existence, ಇದಮ್ this, ವನವಾಸಮೇವ living in the forest, ರಾಜ್ಞಿ for the king, ಅಮೃತಮ್ like nectar, ಪ್ರಾಹುಃ said.

My greatgrandfathers and ancient royal sages used to say that living in the forest is like enjoying nectar for a king for the best existence after death.

ಶಿಲಾ ಶ್ಶೈಲಸ್ಯ ಶೋಭನ್ತೇ ವಿಶಾಲಾ ಶ್ಶತಶೋಭಿತಃ.

ಬಹುಲಾ ಬಹುಲೈರ್ವರ್ಣೈರ್ನೀಲಪೀತಸಿತಾರುಣೈಃ৷৷2.94.20৷৷

ಬಹುಲೈಃ several, ನೀಲಪೀತಸಿತಾರುಣೈಃ blue-black, yellow, white and red, ವರ್ಣೈಃ colours, ಬಹುಲಾಃ many, ವಿಶಾಲಾಃ massive, ಶೈಲಸ್ಯ mountain's, ಶಿಲಾಃ rocks, ಶತಶಃ in hundreds, ಅಭಿತಃ on all sides, ಶೋಭನ್ತೇ are looking splendid.

Several hundreds of massive rocks of the mountain look splendid all around, in blue-black, yellow, white and red colours.

ನಿಶಿಭಾನ್ತ್ಯಚಲೇನ್ದ್ರಸ್ಯ ಹುತಾಶನಶಿಖಾ ಇವ.

ಓಷಧ್ಯಃ ಸ್ವಪ್ರಭಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮ್ಯಾ ಭ್ರಾಜಮಾನಾ ಸ್ಸಹಸ್ರಶಃ৷৷2.94.21৷৷

ಸ್ವಪ್ರಭಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮ್ಯಾ with the splendour of their own lustre, ಭ್ರಾಜಮಾನಾಃ illuminating, ಸಹಸ್ರಶಃ in thousands, ಅಚಲೇನ್ದ್ರಸ್ಯ of this lord of the hills (Chitrakuta's), ಓಷಧ್ಯಃ herbs, ನಿಶಿ in the night, ಹುತಾಶನಶಿಖಾ ಇವ like flames of fire, ಭಾನ್ತಿ shine.

Herbs in thousands on this king of the hills shine in the night with the splendour of their own lustre, like flames of fire.

ಕೇಚಿತ್ ಕ್ಷಯನಿಭಾ ದೇಶಾಃ ಕೇಚಿದುದ್ಯಾನಸನ್ನಿಭಾಃ.

ಕೇಚಿದೇಕಶಿಲಾ ಭಾನ್ತಿ ಪರ್ವತಸ್ಯಾಸ್ಯ ಭಾಮಿನಿ৷৷2.94.22৷৷

ಭಾಮಿನಿ O lovely Sita, ಅಸ್ಯ this, ಪರ್ವತಸ್ಯ mountain's, ಕೇಚಿತ್ some, ದೇಶಾಃ regions, ಕ್ಷಯನಿಭಾಃ like dwellings, ಕೇಚಿತ್ some, ಉದ್ಯಾನಸನ್ನಿಭಾಃ like flower gardens, ಕೇಚಿತ್ some, ಏಕಶಿಲಾಃ in the form of a single rock, ಭಾನ್ತಿ are shining.

O lovely Sita! Some regions of the mountain look like dwelling-places, some others are like flower-gardens and some are shining like a single rock.

ಭಿತ್ತ್ವೇವ ವಸುಧಾಂ ಭಾತಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟಸ್ಸಮುತ್ಥಿತಃ.

ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟಸ್ಯ ಕೂಟೋಸೌ ದೃಶ್ಯತೇ ಸರ್ವತ ಶ್ಶುಭಃ৷৷2.94.23৷৷

ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟಃ Chitrakuta mountain, ವಸುಧಾಮ್ this earth, ಭಿತ್ತ್ವಾ splitting open, ಸಮುತ್ಥಿತಃ ಇವ as if rising from, ಭಾತಿ shining, ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟಸ್ಯ Chitrakuta's, ಅಸೌ this, ಕೂಟಃ peak, ಸರ್ವತಃ on every side, ಶುಭಃ gracious, ದೃಶ್ಯತೇ is seen.

This Chitrakuta mountain stands erect as if it has arisen by splitting open the earth and its peak looks graceful from every side.

ಕುಷ್ಠಸ್ಥಗರಪುನ್ನಾಗ ಭೂರ್ಜಪತ್ರೋತ್ತರಚ್ಛದಾನ್ covered with leaves of kustha, sthagara, punnaga and bhurja, ಕುಶೇಶಯದಲಾಯುತಾನ್ covered with lotus petals, ಕಾಮಿನಾಮ್ lovers, ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತರಾನ್ excellent couches, ಪಶ್ಯ behold.

Behold those excellent couches of lovers spread with leaves of kustha, sthagara, punnaga and bhurja and covered with lotus petals.

ಮೃದಿತಾಶ್ಚಾಪವಿದ್ಧಾಶ್ಚ ದೃಶ್ಯನ್ತೇ ಕಮಲಸ್ರಜಃ.

ಕಾಮಿಭಿರ್ವನಿತೇ ಪಶ್ಯ ಫಲಾನಿ ವಿವಿಧಾನಿ ಚ৷৷2.94.25৷৷

ವನಿತೇ O lady, ಕಾಮಿಭಿಃ by lovers, ಮೃದಿತಾಶ್ಚ crushed, ಅಪವಿದ್ಧಾಶ್ಚ cast aside, ಕಮಲಸ್ರಜಃ lotus garlands, ವಿವಿಧಾನಿ many, ಫಲಾನಿ ಚ fruits, ದೃಶ್ಯನ್ತೇ can be seen, ಪಶ್ಯ behold.

O Lady, behold those lotus garlands crushed and cast aside by lovers and also many fruits (tasted by them and) lying there.

ವಸ್ವೌಕಸಾರಾಂ ನಲಿನೀಮತ್ಯೇತೀವೋತ್ತರಾನ್ಕುರೂನ್.

ಪರ್ವತಶ್ಚಿತ್ರಕೂಟೋಸೌ ಬಹುಮೂಲಫಲೋದಕಃ৷৷2.94.26৷৷
