সর্বাংশ্চাহূয সুগ্রীবঃ প্লবগান্ প্লবগর্ষভঃ৷

সমস্তানব্রবীদ্ভূযো রামকার্যর্থসিদ্ধযে৷৷4.45.1৷৷

এবমেতদ্বিচেতব্যং যন্মযা পরিকীর্তিতম্৷


প্লবগর্ষভঃ bull of among monkeys, ভূযঃ further, সুগ্রীবঃ Sugriva, সর্বান্ all, প্লবগান্ vanaras, আহূয called, রামকার্যর্থসিদ্ধযে for fulfilling the objective of Rama, সমস্তান্ all of them, অব্রবীত্ addressed, মযা by me, যত্ whatever, পরিকীর্তিতম্ described, এবম্ in the same way, এতত্ thus, বিচেতব্যম্ you should search.

Summoning the entire body of vanaras, Sugriva, the bull among monkeys, said, 'Go to the places I have described and look for Sita in order to fulfil Rama's objective'.

Having understood Sugriva's strict orders, the forces of monkeys started moving. They spread like locusts all over the earth.

রামঃ Rama, সহলক্ষ্মণঃ along with Lakshmana, যঃ such, সীতাধিগমে sin tracing the whereabouts of Sita, কৃতঃ was fixed, তং মাসম্ that month, প্রতীক্ষমাণঃ waiting, তস্মিন্ প্রস্রবণে on that Prasravana mountain, ন্যবসত্ stayed.

Rama accompanied by Lakshmana stayed back at Prasravana mountain looking forward for the expiry of the month fixed for the monkeys to trace Sita's whereabouts.

Then the monkey warrior Satavali departed for the north, surrounded by kings of mountains.

'The chieftain Sushena, tiger among the monkeys, started quickly for the fearsome western direction ruled by Varuna.

রাজ্ঞা by the king, এবম্ in that way, সম্বোধিতাঃ having been addressed, সর্বে all, বানরযূথপাঃ leaders of the monkeys, স্বাং স্বাম্ in their respective, দিশম্ direction, অভিপ্রেত্য bound, ত্বরিতাঃ quickly, সম্প্রতস্থিরে departed from there.

Addressed thus by the king, all the monkeys departed quickly from there for their respective directions with all enthusiasm.

chattering, ক্ষ্বেলন্তঃ leaping, বিনদন্তঃ screaming, ধাবমানাশ্চ gallopping.

The powerful monkeys went gallopping and chattering, leaping and screaming.

আনযিষ্যামহে সীতাং হনিষ্যামশ্চ রাবণম্৷৷4.45.11৷৷


রাজ্ঞা by the king, এবম্ in that way, সম্বোদিতা:having addressed, সর্বে all, বানরযূথপাঃ the leaders of monkeys, সীতাম্ Sita, আনযিষ্যামহে we will get, রাবণম্ Ravana, হনিষ্যামশ্চ we will kill.

Thus addressed by the king, the leaders of the monkeys shouted, 'We will kill Ravana and get back Sita'.
অহমেকো হনিষ্যামি রাবণং প্রাপ্তমাহবে৷

ততশ্চোন্মথ্য সহসা হরিষ্যে জনকাত্মজাম্৷৷4.45.12৷৷


অহম্ I am, একঃ alone, আহবে in a war, প্রাপ্তম্ faced, রাবণম্ Ravana, হনিষ্যামি I will kill, ততশ্চ there after, উন্মথ্য after churning, সহসা at once, জনকাত্মজাম্ Janaka's daughter, আহরিষ্যে I will get.

'I shall kill Ravana singlehanded in war and quickly get back Janaka's daughter churning (the enemy army).' (said one)
বেপমানাং শ্রমেণাদ্য ভবদ্ভিঃ স্থীযতামিতি৷

এক এবাহরিষ্যামি পাতালাদপি জানকীম্৷৷4.45.13৷৷


শ্রমেণ with exhaustion, বেপমানাম্ trembling, জানকীম্ Sita, পাতালাদপি even from the nether most world, এক এব I alone, আহরিষ্যামি I will get, অদ্য now, ভবদ্ভিঃ you, স্থীযতাম্ wait, ইতি thus.

'I will alone restore Sita, exhausted and trembling (in fear), even from the nether world.
Wait here' (said another leader).
বধিষ্যাম্যহং বৃক্ষান্ দারযিষ্যাম্যহং গিরীন্৷

ধরণীং দারযিষ্যামি ক্ষোভযিষ্যামি সাগরান্৷৷4.45.14৷৷


অহম্ I, বৃক্ষান্ trees, বধিষ্যামি will smash, গিরীন্ mountains, দারযিষ্যামি I will cleave, ধরণীম্ earth, দারযিষ্যামি break open, সাগরান্ seas, ক্ষোভযিষ্যামি I will churn.

'I will smash trees, shatter mountains, cleave the earth and churn up the seas'. (said a another).
অহং যোজনসঙ্খ্যাযাঃ প্লবিতা নাত্র সংশযঃ৷

শতং যোজনসঙ্খ্যাযাশ্শতং সমধিকং হ্যহম্৷৷4.45.15৷৷


অহম্ I, যোজনসঙ্খ্যাযাঃ শতম্ cross a hundred yojanas, প্লবিতা leap, অহম্ I, শতযোজনসঙ্খ্যাযাঃ cross a distance of hundred yojanas, সমধিকম্ more, অত্র here, সংশযঃ doubt, ন no.

'I can doubtless cross a distance of a hundred yojanas' said one. Another said,' I can leap a hundred yojanas more'.
ভূতলে সাগরে বাপি শৈলেষু চ বনেষু চ৷

পাতালস্যাপি বা মধ্যে ন মমাচ্ছিদ্যতে গতিঃ৷৷4.45.16৷৷


ভূতলে on the earth, সাগরে বাপি or even in the sea, শৈলেষু চ and in mountains also, বনেষু চ in forest also, পাতালস্য of the underworld, মধ্যেবাপি in the midst also, মম my, গতিঃ movement, ন আচ্ছিদ্যতে is not obstructed.

'I can go unobstruted on the earth, or even in the sea, on the mountains, in the forests or even to the centre of the underworld'. (said another)
ইত্যেকৈকং তদা তত্র বানরা বলদর্পিতাঃ৷

ঊচুশ্চ বচনং তত্র হরিরাজস্য সন্নিধৌ৷৷4.45.17৷৷


তদা then, বলদর্পিতাঃ proud of prowess, বানরাঃ monkeys, তত্র his, তস্য their, হরিরাজস্য of the king of monkeys', সন্নিধৌ in the presence of, একৈকঃ each one of them, ইতি thus, বচনম্ words, ঊচুঃ spoke.

The monkeys uttered such words in the presence of their king, being proud of their prowess.
