స చన్ద్రకుముదం రమ్యం సార్కకారణ్డవం శుభమ్.

తిష్యశ్రవణకాదమ్బమభ్రశైవాలశాద్వలమ్৷৷5.57.1৷৷

పునర్వసుమహామీనం లోహితాఙ్గమహాగ్రహమ్.

ఐరావతమహాద్వీపం స్వాతిహంసవిలోలితమ్৷৷5.57.2৷৷

వాతసఙ్ఘాతజాతోర్మి చన్ద్రాంశుశిశిరామ్బుమత్.

భుజఙ్గయక్షగన్ధర్వప్రబుద్ధకమలోత్పలమ్৷৷5.57.3৷৷

హనుమాన్మారుతగతిర్మహానౌరివ సాగరమ్.

అపారమపరిశ్రాన్తః పుప్లువే గగనార్ణవమ్ ৷৷5.57.4৷৷


మారుతగతిః like the Wind-god, హనుమాన్ Hanuman, అపరిశ్రాన్తః nwearied, సచన్ద్రకుముదమ్ Moon for a white lotus, సార్కకారణ్డవమ్ Sun for a water-fowl, శుభమ్ auspicious, తిష్యశ్రవణకాదమ్బమ్ Tishya and Shravana for sweet-voiced swans, అభ్రశైవాలశాద్వలమ్ clouds for duck-weeds and grassy spots on the shores, పునర్వసుమహామీనమ్ Punarvasu constellation for large fish, లోహితాఙ్గమహాగ్రహమ్ the planet Mars for a crocodile, ఐరావతమహాద్వీపమ్ Airavata for a large island, స్వాతిహంసవిలోలితమ్ Swati for swan in water, వాతసఙ్ఘాతజాతోర్మి waves produced by wind for its billows, చన్ద్రాంశుశ్శిరామ్బుమత్ cool Moonbeams for cold waters, భుజఙ్గయక్షగన్ధర్వప్రబుద్ధకమలోత్పలమ్ nagas, yakshas, gandharvas together as fully blossomed lotuses, అపారమ్ గగనార్ణవమ్ another ocean like, మహానౌ: huge boat, సాగరమ్ ఇవ like the ocean, పుప్లువే flew across.

Hanuman leaped ike the Wind-god, unwearied across the sky, as a huge boat crosses an ocean. The ocean was graced with a swan, the sky with constellation of Swati with full-blown lotuses and water lilies, like the nagas, yakshas, and gandharvas gathered together. The Moon in the sky was like a white lotus, the Sun like a water-fowl, the
auspicious Tishya and Shravana like the sweet-voiced swans, and the clouds like duck-weeds and green grassy spots on the shore. The Punarvasu star was like a large fish and the planet Mars was like a crocodile. Airavata was like the great island. The waves produced by the wind were like cool moonlight in the cold water.
గ్రసమాన ఇవాకాశం తారాధిపమివోల్లిఖన్.

హరన్నివ సనక్షత్రం గగనం సార్కమణ్డలమ్৷৷5.57.5৷৷

మారుతస్యాత్మజః శ్రీమాన్కపిర్వ్యోమచరో మహాన్.

హనుమాన్మేఘజాలాని వికర్షన్నివ గచ్ఛతి৷৷5.57.6৷৷


మారుతస్య Wind-god's, ఆత్మజః son, శ్రీమాన్ prosperous, మహాన్ great, కపిః monkey, హనుమాన్ Hanuman, వ్యోమచరః who moves through the wind, ఆకాశమ్ sky, గ్రసమానః ఇవ as if swallowing, తారాధిపమ్ lord of stars, ఉల్లిఖన్నివ as if scratching, సనక్షత్రమ్ with the stars, సార్కమణ్డలమ్ constellation of Sun, గగనమ్ sky, హరన్నివ as if seizing, మేఘజాలాని వికర్షన్నివ drawing the clusters of clouds, గచ్ఛతి flew.

Great Hanuman, son of the Wind-god, flew through the abode of the Wind-god as if he was swallowing the space, scratching the Moon, lord of the stars, as if seizing the heavens along with the constellation of Sun and stars and as though he was drawing the clusters of clouds.
పాణ్డురారుణవర్ణాని నీలమాఞ్జిష్ఠకాని చ.

హరితారుణవర్ణాని మహాభ్రాణి చకాశిరే৷৷5.57.7৷৷


పాణ్డరారుణవర్ణాని of white and black colour, నీలమాఞ్జిష్ఠకాని చ and of blue yellow colour, హరితారుణవర్ణాని of greenish red colour, మహాభ్రాణి shone briliantly, చకాశిరే made their appearance.

(In contact with Hanuman) the clouds shone forth brilliantly in white and black, in blue and yellow and in greenish red colour.
ప్రవిశన్నభ్రజాలాని నిష్పతంశ్చ పునః పునః.

ప్రచ్ఛన్నశ్చ ప్రకాశశ్చ చన్ద్రమా ఇవ లక్ష్యతే৷৷5.57.8৷৷


అభ్రజాలాని into the mass of clouds, ప్రవిశన్ entering, పునః పునః again and again, నిష్పతంశ్చ disappearing, ప్రచ్ఛన్నశ్చ covered by, ప్రకాశశ్చ shining again, చన్ద్రమాః like the Moon, లక్ష్యతే was appearing.

With his exist and entrances into the mass of clouds, his appearances and disappearances among the clouds, he looked like the Moon.
వివిధాభ్రఘనాపన్నగోచరో ధవలామ్బరః.

దృశ్యాదృశ్యతనుర్వీరస్తదా చన్ద్రాయతేమ్బరే৷৷5.57.9৷৷


తదా then, వివిధాభ్రఘనాసన్నగోచరః passing through the clouds clad in white, ధవళామ్బరః white sky, దృశ్యాదృశ్యతనుః appearing and disappearing, వీరః hero, అమ్బరే in the sky, చన్ద్రాయతే like the Moon.

Passing through the clouds, appearing and disappearing, the heroic Hanuman clad in white was like the Moon in the white sky.
తార్క్ష్యాయమాణో గగనే బభాసే వాయునన్దనః.

దారయన్మేఘబృన్దాని నిష్పతంశ్చ పునః పునః৷৷5.57.10৷৷

నదన్నాదేన మహతా మేఘస్వనమహాస్వనః.


మేఘబృన్దాని through flakes of clouds, దారయన్ making way, పునః పునః again and again, నిష్పతంశ్చ disappearing, మహతా great, నాదేన in loud voice, నదన్ noise, మేఘస్వనమహాస్వనః roaring like thundering clouds, వాయునన్దనః the delight of the Wind-god, గగనే in the sky, తార్క్ష్యాయమాణః like Garuda, బభాసే shone.

As he made his way through flakes of clouds, again and again appearing and disappearing, Hanuman the delight of the Wind-god shone in the sky roaring like a thundering cloud. He looked like Garuda.
ప్రవరాన్రాక్షసాన్ హత్వా నామ విశ్రావ్య చాత్మనః৷৷5.57.11৷৷

ఆకులాం నగరీం కృత్వా వ్యథయిత్వా చ రావణమ్.

అర్దయిత్వా బలం ఘోరం వైదేహీమభివాద్య చ৷৷5.57.12৷৷

ఆజగామ మహాతేజాః పునర్మధ్యేన సాగరమ్.


మహాతేజాః glorious, ప్రవరాన్ eminent, రాక్షసాన్ ogres హత్వా having killed, ఆత్మనః himself, నామ name, విశ్రావ్య widely known, నగరీమ్ in the city, ఆకులామ్ having caused havoc, కృత్వా done, రావణమ్ Ravana, వ్యథయిత్వా having caused sorrow, ఘోరమ్ terrific, బలమ్ army, అర్దయిత్వా having tormented, వైదేహీమ్ to Vaidehi, అభివాద్య చ having offered salutation, పునః again, సాగరం మధ్యేన to cross the ocean, ఆజగామ departed.

The glorious Hanuman, having killed eminent ogres and thereby making himself widely known, having caused havoc to the city of Lanka and terrific sorrow to Ravana by tormenting the army, offered salutations to Vaidehi from mid-ocean and continued his journey.
పర్వతేన్ద్రం సునాభం చ సముపస్పృశ్య వీర్యవాన్৷৷5.57.13৷৷

జ్యాముక్త ఇవ నారాచో మహావేగోభ్యుపాగతః.


వీర్యవాన్ hero, పర్వతేన్ద్రమ్ lord of mountains,సునాభం చ from the centre, సముపస్పృశ్య touched fondly, జ్యాముక్తః telling everything, నారాచః ఇవ like the arrow from a powerful bowstring, మహావేగః with great speed, అభ్యుపాగతః went.

The valiant Hanuman touched the lord of mountains fondly and went with great speed just as an arrow released from the centre of a powerful bowstring.
స కిఞ్చిదనుసమ్ప్రాప్తః సమాలోక్య మహాగిరిమ్৷৷5.57.14৷৷

మహేన్ద్రం మేఘసఙ్కాశం ననాద హరిపుఙ్గవః.


సః he, హరిపుఙ్గవః chief of monkeys, మహాగిరిమ్ great mountain, మేఘసఙ్కాశమ్ resembling the mass of cloud, మహేన్ద్రమ్ Mahendra, కిఞ్చిత్ a little, అనుసమ్ప్రాప్తః coming near, సమాలోక్య beholding, ననాద thundered.

The chief of the monkeys arrived near, and beholding the face of the Mahendra mountain, which resembled a mass of clouds, thundered.
స పూరయామాస కపిర్దిశో దశ సమన్తతః৷৷5.57.15৷৷

నదన్నాదేన మహతా మేఘస్వనమహాస్వనః.


మేఘస్వనమహాస్వనః one who makes a thundering noise, సః కపిః that Hanuman, నదన్ noise, మహతా great, నాదేన by the noise, దశ దిశః all the ten directions, సమన్తతః all over, పూరయామాస filled.

The thundering noise of Hanuman filled all the ten directions with great sound.
స తం దేశమనుప్రాప్తః సుహృద్ధర్శనలాలసః৷৷5.57.16৷৷

ననాద హరిశార్దూలో లాఙ్గూలం చాప్యకమ్పయత్.


తం దేశమ్ that place, అనుప్రాప్తః having sighted, సుహృద్ధర్శనలాలసః waiting to see his companions, సః హరిశార్దూలః that tiger among monkeys, ననాద made loud noise, లాఙ్గూలమ్ his tail, అకమ్పయచ్చ shook in joy.

Having sighted the place of his companions and waiting to see them for long that tiger among monkeys made a loud noise and shook his tail in joy.
తస్య నానద్యమానస్య సుపర్ణచరితే పథి৷৷5.57.17৷৷

ఫలతీవాస్య ఘోషేణ గగనం సార్కమణ్డలమ్.


సుపర్ణచరితే the path way of Suparna, పథి lord, నానద్యమానస్య making terrific sound, అస్య by his, ఘోషేణ sound, సార్కమణ్డలమ్ the Sun's orbit, గగనమ్ the sky, ఫలతి ఇవ as if splitting.

By the terrific sounds made by Hanuman in joy, it seemed as though the pathway of Garuda, the sky along with the Sun's orbit was splitting.
యే తు తత్రోత్తరే తీరే సముద్రస్య మహాబలాః৷৷5.57.18৷৷

పూర్వం సంవిష్ఠితాశ్శూరా వాయుపుత్రదిదృక్షవః.

మహతో వాతనున్నస్య తోయదస్యేవ గర్జితమ్৷৷5.57.19৷৷

శుశ్రువుస్తే తదా ఘోషమూరువేగం హనూమతః.


తత్ర thereafter, సముద్రస్య ocean's, ఉత్తరే తీరే northern shore, పూర్వమ్ earlier, సంవిష్ఠితాః waiting, మహాబలాః powerful (monkeys), శూరాః brave, వాయుపుత్రదిదృక్షవః awaiting the arrival of the son of the Wind-god, యే those, తే what, తదా then, వాతనున్నస్య by the impact of sweeping motion of his thighs, మహతః great, తోయదస్య stormy cloud's, గర్జితమ్ ఇవ like the thundering noise, హనూమతః of Hanuman, ఘోషమ్ roaring, ఊరువేగమ్ by the speed, శుశ్రువుః heard.

Thereafter the brave and powerful monkeys waiting on the northern shore of the ocean for the arrival of the son of the Wind-god, heard the roar and thundering sound of the stormy cloud produced by the sweeping motion of Hanuman's thighs propelled by the speed of his movement.
తే దీనమనసస్సర్వే శుశ్రువుః కాననౌకసః৷৷5.57.20৷৷

వానరేన్ద్రస్య నిర్ఘోషం పర్జన్యనినదోపమమ్.


దీనమనసః dejected at heart, తే they, సర్వే all, కాననౌకసః with eagerness, వానరేన్ద్రస్య chief of vanara's, పర్జన్యనినదోపమమ్ like the thundering of clouds, నిర్ఘోషమ్ noise, శుశ్రువుః heard.

All the vanaras who were feeling dejected and waiting anxiously heard the noise of Hanuman that sounded like a thundering cloud.
నిశమ్య నదతో నాదం వానరాస్తే సమన్తతః৷৷5.57.21৷৷

బభూవురుత్సుకాస్సర్వే సుహృద్ధర్శనకాఙ్క్షిణః.


సమన్తతః together, సర్వే all of them, తే వానరాః those vanaras, నదతః chattering, నాదమ్ voice, నిశమ్య hearing, సుహృద్ధర్శనకాఙ్క్షిణః waiting to see their friend, ఉత్సుకాః eager, బభూవుః became.

On hearing the loud voice of Hanuman, all the vanaras were longing to see their friend.
జామ్బవాన్ స హరిశ్రేష్ఠః ప్రీతిసంహృష్టమానసః৷৷5.57.22৷৷

ఉపామన్త్ర్య హరీన్ సర్వానిదం వచనమబ్రవీత్.


హరిశ్రేష్ఠః chief of vanaras, సః జామ్బవాన్ that Jambavan, ప్రీతిసంహృష్టమానసః very happy at heart, సర్వాన్ all, హరీన్ monkeys, ఉపామన్త్య్ర called, ఇదమ్ these, వచనమ్ words, అబ్రవీత్ spoke.

Jambavan the chief of vanaras became very happy at heart and called all the vanaras and spoke:
సర్వథా కృతకార్యోసౌ హనుమాన్నాత్ర సంశయః৷৷5.57.23৷৷

న హ్యస్యాకృతకార్యస్య నాద ఏవంవిధో భవేత్.


అసౌ Oh that!, హనుమాన్ Hanuman, సర్వథా always, కృతకార్యః successful, అకృతకార్యస్య if he was not successsful, అస్య his, నాదః sound, ఏవంవిధః in this manner, న భవేత్ హి will not be so.

"Oh! Hanuman is always successful. If he has not, he would not make sounds in this manner".
తస్య బాహూరువేగం చ నినాదం చ మహాత్మనః৷৷5.57.24৷৷

నిశమ్య హరయో హృష్టాః సముత్పేతుస్తతస్తతః.


మహాత్మనః great self, తస్య his, బహూరువేగం చ speed of his arms and thighs, నినాదం చ sounds, నిశమ్య rejoiced, హృష్టాః joyful, హరయః vanaras, తతస్తతః then and there, సముత్పేతుః jumped in joy.

Hearing the sound of his dashing movements of arms and thighs the vanaras jumped
about in joy, then and there.
తే నగాగ్రాన్నగాగ్రాణి శిఖరాచ్ఛిఖరాణి చ৷৷5.57.25৷৷

ప్రహృష్టాః సమపద్యన్త హనూమన్తం దిదృక్షవః.


తే those vanaras, ప్రహృష్టాః very happy, హనూమన్తమ్ Hanuman, దిదృక్షవః longing to see him, నగాగ్రాత్ from the top of a tree, నగాగ్రాణి to another tree top, శిఖరాత్ from the peak of mountain, శిఖరాణి చ to another peak of a mountain, సమపద్యన్త jumped.

The vanaras were very happy. Longing to see Hanuman, they jumped from one tree top to another and from one peak of a mountain to the other.
తే ప్రీతాః పాదపాగ్రేషు గృహ్య శాఖాః సువిష్ఠితాః৷৷5.57.26৷৷

వాసాంసీవ ప్రశాఖాశ్చ సమావిధ్యన్త వానరాః.


తే వానరాః those vanaras, ప్రీతాః happily, పాదపాగ్రేషు from the tree top, శాఖాః branches, గృహ్య holding, సువిష్ఠితాః waiting, ప్రశాఖాః the branches, వాసాంసీవ like clothes, సమావిధ్యన్త shook them.

Waiting for Hanuman, the vanaras jumped from the tree tops holding the branches. They shook the branches just like clothes to welcome friends.
గిరిగహ్వరసంలీనో యథా గర్జతి మారుతః৷৷5.57.27৷৷

ఏవం జగర్జ బలవాన్ హనుమాన్మారుతాత్మజః.


గిరిగహ్వరసంలీనః like the wind in the mountain caves, మారుతః wind, యథా similarly, గర్జతి roared, బలవాన్ powerful, మారుతాత్మజః son of the Wind-god, హనుమాన్ Hanuman, ఏవమ్ in that way, జగర్జ roared.

Hanuman, the powerful son of the Wind-god roared like the wind captured in a mountain cave would.
తమభ్రఘనసఙ్కాశమాపతన్తం మహాకపిమ్৷৷5.57.28৷৷

దృష్ట్వా తే వానరాస్సర్వే తస్థుః ప్రాఞ్జలయస్తదా.


తదా then, అభ్రఘనసఙ్కాశమ్ resembling heavy cloud, ఆపతన్తమ్ approaching, తం మహాకపిమ్ that great vanara, దృష్ట్వా having seen, తే those, వానరాః vanaras, ప్రాఞ్జలయః with folded hands, తస్థుః stood.

(On seeing) Hanuman, who was resembling a heavy cloud approaching, the vanaras stood with folded hands.
తతస్తు వేగవాంస్తస్య గిరేర్గిరినిభః కపిః৷৷5.57.29৷৷

నిపపాత మహేన్ద్రస్య శిఖరే పాదపాకులే.


తతః thereafter, గిరినిభః of mountain size, వేగవాన్ with great speed, కపిః monkey, తస్య on that, మహేన్ద్రస్య Mahendra's, గిరేః mountain, పాదపాకులే full of trees, శిఖరే summit, నిపపాత descended.

Thereafter the vanara, who resembled a mountain, descended with great speed on the summit of mount Mahendra full of trees.
హర్షేణాపూర్యమాణోసౌ రమ్యే పర్వతనిర్ఝరే৷৷5.57.30৷৷

ఛిన్నపక్ష ఇవాకాశాత్పపాత ధరణీధరః.


హర్షేణ ఆపూర్యమాణః full of immeasurable joy, అసౌ that, ఛిన్నపక్షః with wings cut off, ధరణీధరః ఇవ like a mountain, రమ్యే delighted, పర్వన్తిర్ఝరే on the bank of the mountain stream, ఆకాశాత్ from the sky, పపాత landed.

Overwhelmed with immeasurable joy, Hanuman descended from the sky like the mountain with its wings cut off and dropped on the bank of a mountain stream.
తతస్తే ప్రీతమనసస్సర్వే వానరపుఙ్గవాః৷৷5.57.31৷৷

హనుమన్తం మహాత్మానం పరివార్యోపతస్థిరే.

పరివార్య చ తే సర్వే పరాం ప్రీతిముపాగతాః৷৷5.57.32৷৷


తతః then, సర్వే all, తే of them, వానరపుఙ్గవాః vanara leaders, ప్రీతమనసః happy at heart, మహాత్మానమ్ that great self, హనుమన్తమ్ to Hanuman, పరివార్య surrounded, ఉపతస్థిరే without moving, తే సర్వే all of them, పరివార్య around, పరామ్ extreme, ప్రీతిమ్ joyful, ఉపాగతాః became.

Feeling very happy at heart all the vanara leaders gathered around Hanuman. They stood motionless with extreme happiness.
ప్రహృష్టవదనా స్సర్వే తమరోగముపాగతమ్.

ఉపాయనాని చాదాయ మూలాని చ ఫలాని చ৷৷5.57.33৷৷

ప్రత్యర్చయన్ హరిశ్రేష్ఠం హరయో మారుతాత్మజమ్.


సర్వే హరయః the vanaras, ప్రహృష్టవదనాః face filled with joy, మూలాని చ even roots, ఫలాని చ and fruits, ఉపాయనాని gifts, ఆదాయ offered, ఆరోగమ్ without being hurt, ఉపాగతమ్ returned, హరిశ్రేష్ఠమ్ foremost of monkeys, మారుతాత్మజమ్ son of the Wind-god, ప్రత్యర్పయన్ offered salutations.

The vanaras were filled with joy seeing Hanuman who returned unhurt. They offered roots and fruits to him. Hanuman on his part offered salutations to the foremost of the monkeys.
హనుమాంస్తు గురూన్ వృద్ధాఞ్జామ్బవత్ప్రముఖాంస్తదా৷৷5.57.34৷৷

కుమారమఙ్గదం చైవ సోవన్దత మహాకపిః.


తదా then, మహాకపిః great monkey, హనుమాంస్తు Hanuman also, గురూన్ preceptors, వృద్ధాన్ elders, జామ్బవత్ప్రముఖాన్ Jambavan and other leaders, కుమారమ్ to the young, అఙ్గదం చైవ Angada also, అవన్దత saluted.

The great Hanuman also offered salutations to elders, preceptors such as Jambavan and other leaders. He also saluted the young Angada.
స తాభ్యాం పూజితః పూజ్యః కపిభిశ్చ ప్రసాదితః৷৷5.57.35৷৷

దృష్టా సీతేతి విక్రాన్త స్సంక్షేపేణ న్యవేదయత్.


విక్రాన్తః valiant one, పూజ్యః worthy of worship, సః he, తాభ్యామ్ both, పూజితః having been honoured, కపిభిః by vanaras also, ప్రసాదితః pleased, సీతా Sita, దృష్టా saw, ఇతి this, సఙ్క్షేపేణ briefly, న్యవేదయత్ revealed.

The valiant Hanuman worthy of worship having been honoured by both Jambavan and Angada was pleased. He responded briefly, saying 'Saw Sita'.
నిషసాద చ హస్తేన గృహీత్వా వాలినస్సుతమ్৷৷5.57.36৷৷

రమణీయే వనోద్దేశే మహేన్ద్రస్య గిరేస్తదా.


తదా then, వాలినః Vali's, సుతమ్ son, హస్తేన with hand, గృహీత్వా holding, మహేన్ద్రస్య గిరేః Mahendra mountain, రమణీయే beautiful, వనోద్ధేశే place of the garden, నిషసాద చ sat down.

Then holding the hand of Vali's son he sat down at a beautiful location of the garden of mountain Mahendra.
హనుమానబ్రవీద్ధృష్టస్తదా తాన్వానరర్షభాన్৷৷5.57.37৷৷

అశోకవనికాసంస్థా దృష్టా సా జనకాత్మజా.

రక్షమాణా సుఘోరాభీ రాక్షసీభిరనిన్దితా৷৷5.57.38৷৷

ఏకవేణీధరా బాలా రామదర్శనలాలసా.

ఉపవాసపరిశ్రాన్తా జటిలా మలినా కృశా৷৷5.57.39৷৷


తదా then, హృష్టః became happy, హనుమాన్ Hanuman, తాన్ them, వానరర్షభాన్ bull among vanaras, అబ్రవీత్ said, అశోకవనికాసంస్థా in the groves of Ashoka trees, సుఘోరాభిః very
dreadful, రాక్షసీభిః demons, రక్ష్యమాణా guarded by, అనిన్దితా blameless lady, ఏకవేణీధరా having one braid, బాలా young, రామదర్శనలాలసా with eagerness to see Rama, ఉపవాసపరిశ్రాన్తా emaciated due to fasting, జటిలా hair matted, మలినా soiled, కృశా weakened, సా జనకాత్మజా that Janaka's daughter, దృష్టా saw.

Hanuman felt happy and told Angada, the bull of vanaras, "I saw Sita in the groves of Ashoka guarded by dreadful ogres. She is blameless, eager to see Rama. She is wearing a single braid of hair. She is young and emaciated due to fasting. Her hair is matted and soiled".
తతో దృష్టేతి వచనం మహార్థమమృతోపమమ్.

నిశమ్య మారుతేస్సర్వే ముదితా వానరాభవన్৷৷5.57.40৷৷


తతః then, దృష్టా seeing, ఇతి thus, మారుతేః Hanuman, మహార్థమ్ most meaningful, అమృతోపమమ్ like nectar, వచనమ్ these words, నిశమ్య hearing, సర్వే all, వానరాః vanara, ముదితాః joyful, అభవన్ remained.

Then hearing Hanuman's meaningful and nectar-like words all the vanaras rejoiced.
క్ష్వేలన్త్యన్యే నదన్త్యన్యే గర్జన్త్యన్యే మహాబలాః.

చక్రుః కిలకిలామన్యే ప్రతిగర్జన్తి చాపరే৷৷5.57.41৷৷


మహాబలాః powerful, అన్యే others, క్ష్వేలన్తి howled, అన్యే some others, నదన్తి chattered, అన్యే some others, గర్జన్తి roared like lion, అన్యే some, కిలకిలామ్ screamed, చక్రుః round and round, ఆపరే went, ప్రతిగర్జన్తి echoed the roaring.

Some powerful vanaras howled, some chattered, some roared and some screamed, going round and round and others echoed the sounds.
కేచిదుచ్ఛ్రితలాఙ్గూలాః ప్రహృష్టాః కపికుఞ్జరాః.

ఆయతాఞ్చితదీర్ఘాణి లాఙ్గూలాని ప్రవివ్యధుః৷৷5.57.42৷৷


ప్రహృష్టాః very exited with joy, కేచిత్ a few, కపికుఞ్జరాః elephants among monkeys, ఉచ్ఛ్రితలాఙ్గూలాః lifted their tails, ఆయతాఞ్చితదీర్ఘాణి beautiful and long ones, లాఙ్గూలాని tails, ప్రవివ్యధుః hit on the ground.

Some elephant-like vanaras who were excited and felt overjoyed lifted their long and beautiful tails and hit them on the ground.
అపరే చ హనూమన్తం వానరా వారణోపమమ్.

ఆప్లుత్య గిరిశృఙ్గేభ్యస్సంస్పృశన్తి స్మ హర్షితాః৷৷5.57.43৷৷


ఆపరే a few, వానరాః vanaras, హర్షితాః in happiness, గిరిశృఙ్గేభ్యః from the top of the mountain, ఆప్లుత్య jumped down, వారణోపమమ్ elephant-like, హనూమన్తమ్ Hanuman, సంస్పృశన్తి స్మ hugged.

A few vanaras jumped down from the mountain top and hugged the elephant-like Hanuman.
ఉక్తవాక్యం హనూమన్తమఙ్గదస్తమథాబ్రవీత్.

సర్వేషాం హరివీరాణాం మధ్యే వచనముత్తమమ్৷৷5.57.44৷৷


అథ and then, అఙ్గదః Angada, ఉక్తవాక్యమ్ words spoken, హనూమన్తమ్ by Hanuman, సర్వేషామ్ all of them, హరివీరాణామ్ vanara heroes, మధ్యే midst, ఉత్తమమ్ best, వచనమ్ words, అబ్రవీత్ spoke.

And hearing Hanuman's sweetest words, Angada addressed the heroic vanaras;
సత్త్వే వీర్యే న తే కశ్చిత్సమో వానర విద్యతే.

యదవప్లుత్య విస్తీర్ణం సాగరం పునరాగతః৷৷5.57.45৷৷


వానర vanara, యత్ such, విస్తీర్ణమ్ wide, సాగరమ్ ocean, అవప్లుత్య leaping, పునః again, ఆగతః returned, సత్త్వే in strength, వీర్యే in valour, తే to you, సమః equal, కశ్చిత్ none, న విద్యతే not known.

"O! vanara! you have leaped such a wide ocean and have returned. In strength and valour. There is none equal to you.
అహో స్వామిని తే భక్తిరహో వీర్యమహో ధృతిః.

దిష్ట్యా దృష్టా త్వయా దేవీ రామపత్నీ యశస్వినీ৷৷5.57.46৷৷

దిష్ట్యా త్యక్ష్యతి కాకుత్స్థ శ్శోకం సీతావియోగజమ్.


స్వామిని to the king, తే to you, భక్తిః devotion, అహో Oh!, వీర్యమ్ valour, అహో Oh!, ధృతిః fortitude, అహో Oh!, దిష్ట్యా courage, త్వయా of yours, రామపత్నీ Rama's wife, యశస్వినీ illustrious, దేవీ wife, దృష్టా saw, దిష్ట్యా our luck, కాకుత్స్థః Rama, సీతావియోగజమ్ born of separation from Sita, శోకమ్ grief, త్యక్ష్యతి will be removed.

"O! your devotion to the king, O! your valour, fortitude and courage is admirable. You could see Rama's wife, an illustrious lady. This is a matter of our good luck. Rama will (now) shed the sorrow due to separation from Sita.
తతోఙ్గదం హనూమన్తం జామ్బవన్తం చ వానరాః৷৷5.57.47৷৷

పరివార్య ప్రముదితా భేజిరే విపులాశ్శిలాః.


తతః then, వానరాః vanaras, ప్రముదితాః very happily, అఙ్గదమ్ Angada's, హనూమన్తమ్ Hanuman, జామ్బవన్తం చ and Jambavan, పరివార్య and going round, విపులాః extensive, శిలాః rocks, భేజిరే betook to.

Then the vanaras went round all the three Angada, Hanuman and Jambavan. Out of joy they lay down on the huge rocks.
శ్రోతుకామాస్సముద్రస్య లఙ్ఘనం వానరోత్తమాః৷৷5.57.48৷৷

దర్శనం చాపి లఙ్కాయాస్సీతాయా రావణస్య చ.

తస్థుః ప్రాఞ్జలయస్సర్వే హనుమద్వచనోన్ముఖాః৷৷5.57.49৷৷


సర్వే all, వానరోత్తమాః best of vanaras, సముద్రస్య at the ocean, లఙ్ఘనమ్ crossing, లఙ్కాయాః of Lanka, సీతాయాః about Sita, రావణస్య చ and Ravana, దర్శనం చాపి and seeing, శ్రోతుకామాః longing to listen, ప్రాఞ్జలయః with folded palms, హనుమద్వచనోన్ముఖాః from the mouth of Hanuman, తస్థుః kept watching.

All the vanaras longing to listen to Hanuman about his crossing the ocean, seeing Lanka, Sita and Ravana kept looking at the face of Hanuman.
తస్థౌ తత్రాఙ్గదః శ్రీమాన్ వానరైర్బహుభిర్వృతః.

ఉపాస్యమానో విబుధైర్దివి దేవపతిర్యథా৷৷5.57.50৷৷


తత్ర there, శ్రీమాన్ great, బహుభిః many, వానరైః vanaras, వృతః surrounded, అఙ్గదః Angada, దివి heaven, విబుధైః by gods, ఉపాస్యమానః attended by, దేవపతి: యథా like the lord of gods, తస్థౌ shining.

Surrounded by many great vanaras, Angada was shining like Indra, lord of the gods attended by the gods in heaven.
హనూమతా కీర్తిమతా యశస్వినా తథాఙ్గదేనాఙ్గదబద్ధబాహునా.

ముదా తదాధ్యాసితమున్నతం మహన్మహీధరాగ్రం జ్వలితం శ్రియాభవత్৷৷5.57.51৷৷


కీర్తిమతా famed, హనూమతా Hanuman, తథా that way, యశస్వినా renowned, అఙ్గదబద్ధబాహునా bedecked with armlets, అఙ్గదేన by Angada, తదా then, ముదా joyfully, అధ్యాసితమ్ seated, ఉన్నతమ్ high, మహత్ great, మహీధరాగ్రమ్ top of the mountain, తదా then, యా propsperous, జ్వలితం splendid, అభవత్ remained.

The mountain peak graced by famous Hanuman and renowned Angada bedecked with armlets seated on top joyfully, appeared prosperous and splendid.
