[ Angada relates the story of Jatayu's combat with Ravana to Sampati]

tattu śrutvā tathā vākyamaṅgadasya mukhōdgatam.

abravīdvacanaṅ gṛdhrastīkṣṇatuṇḍō mahāsvanaḥ৷৷4.57.1৷৷

Translation

tīkṣṇatuṇḍaḥ sharp-beaked, mahāsvanaḥ loud-voiced, gṛdhraḥ vulture, tathā like that, aṅgadasya of Angada, mukhōdgatam came from the mouth, tat vākyam those words, śrutvā after hearing, vacanam these words, abravīt said.
