tāṅ cāśruvēgēna durāsadēna

tvabhiplutāṅ śōkamahārṇavēna.

paśyaṅstadā vālyanujastarasvī

bhrāturvadhēnāpratimēna tēpē4.24.1৷৷

Translation

durāsadēna by the unassailable, śōkamahārṇavēna by the ocean of grief, aśruvēgēna with the flood of tears, abhiplutām overwhelmed, tām her,paśyan perceiving, tadā then, tarasvī powerful, vālyanujaḥ younger brother of Vali (Sugriva), apratimēna incomparable, bhrātuḥ vadhēna over killing of the brother, tēpē agonized.

Sugriva, the unassailable younger brother of Vali, perceiving Tara overwhelmed in the ocean of grief felt agonized for the killing of his brother of incomparable power.
