susaṅvṛtaṅ pārthipalakṣaṇaiśca

taṅ cārunētraṅ mṛgaśābanētrā.

adṛṣṭapūrvaṅ puruṣapradhāna-

mayaṅ sa kākutstha iti prajajñē4.24.28৷৷

Translation

mṛgaśāvanētrā fawn-eyed, pārthivalakṣaṇaiḥ with all royal marks, susaṅvṛtam him who was endowed with, cārunētram beautiful-eyed, adṛṣṭapūrvam never seen before, puruṣapradhānam a magnificent man, tam him, ayam this, saḥ he, kākutstha: of Kakutstha family, iti this, prajajñē recognized.

The fawn-eyed Tara saw the magnificent man of Kakutstha family endowed with all royal marks and beautiful eyes, whom she had never seen before and knew he was Rama.
